Dmitri Palamarchuk was twice World Junior Champion with Julia Obertas (1998 and 1999). The pair split up after
the World Championships in Nice 2000, where they had a bad fall during the Free Skating, which forced them to
withdraw. Chuvaeva injured her foot at the 2001 Europeans, and the team withdrew after the short program.
