Faiella/Scali teamed up in 2001 after competing sucessfully at the junior level with their previous partners. Faiella/Scali moved to Detroit (USA) to train with Camerlengo in 2006. They are also coached by Linichuk since 2009. Linichuk is the 1980 Olympic Ice Dance Champion (with Gennadi Karpanossov). Camerlengo was a National Ice Dance Champion of Italy and competed at the World level.
