Zaretsky/Zaretsky are brother and sister and were originally coached by their parents.They were born in Minsk (BLR) but moved to Israel at ages three and seven. He started skating at age four in Minsk while she began at age six in Israel. The siblings teamed up in 1995. They switched coaches after the 2006/07 season and are now coached by Galit Chait, the 2002 World bronze medalist (with Sergei Sakhnovski).
