Canac has competed in singles until the 2005/2006 season. She started practising pairs with Coia for one hour a day in 2005. Since July 2006, Canac has switched to pairs completely. The couple missed the 2008 European Championships because she suffered from a stress fracture in her sternum. Canac/Coia have moved to Canada for training in 2008.
