 Gavrylovych/Bernadowski teamed up in April 2007. She is originally from the Ukraine and moved to Poland to skate with him. The couple is coached by Bernadowski's mother. His brother Filip (ten years older) was a competitive ice dancer as well and competed at the World level. He was ranked 17th at the 2000 World Championships (with Aleksandra Kauc).
