Osmond is a gold medalist in the team event at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games and a silver medalist in the team event at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Osmond's older sister Natasha competed in singles, pair skating and ice dance at the National level. Osmond moved first from Newfoundland to Montreal at age 8 and then with her family to Alberta at age 10 in order to have better training conditions. Coach Ravi Walia competed at the international level. Osmond missed the 2014/15 season due to a broken ankle.
