You grew up in Singapore and started skating inspired by 2010 Olympic Champion Yuna Kim. She then moved back to Korea for better training conditions and later relocated to Canada and then the USA for training. She has also trained in Japan. She won the senior National Championships in 2016 at age 11. She has landed the triple Axel in competition.
