Siao Him Fa is the first French man to win the European title in 12 years since Florent Amodio won in 2011. He switched coaches and moved to Nice in 2022. Siao Him Fa received the ISU Skating Award 2024 in the category "Most Entertaining Program" for his Free Skating program in the 2023/24 season.
