Safina/Berulava are the first Georgian skaters to win an ISU Championship title (Junior World title in 2022) and the first Georgian pair skaters to win medals at the ISU Junior Grand Prix (silver and bronze in 2021 at JGP Kosice and JGP Austria). Relocated to Germany for training in fall 2022, but meanwhile returned to Russia.
