Hendrickx is the first female skater from Belgium to win a medal at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (bronze at Gran Premio d'Italia 2021). Her  older brother Jorik competed at the Olympic level in figure skating and is part of her coaching team. Hendrickx missed the 2019/20 season and the 2019 European Championships due to injury.
