Aymoz has relocated to the USA for training in 2018, but has returned to France due to the pandemic in 2020. He now splits his training time between the USA and his home in Grenoble. Aymoz competed in baton twirling and won the 2016 National title in the solo discipline. Aymoz was nominated for the ISU Skating Award 2024 in the category "Most Entertaining Program" for his Free Skating program in the 2023/24 season. Coach John Zimmerman (USA) is the 2002 World Pairs bronze medalist (with Kyoko Ina). Coach Silvia Fontana (ITA) competed at the World and Olympic level.
